Responsibilities

You are a capable self-starter, self-motivated software engineer, disciplined in software development methods including Agile/Scrum.

Our teams enjoy working closely with each other utilizing an Agile development methodology. Priorities can change quickly, but our team members are able to stay ahead to delight every one of our customers, whether they are internal or external to Viasat.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Development and/or Automation
  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be required to communicate both verbally and in written form with remote international teams very frequently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE, IT or equivalent experience.

Preferences
  • Professional history working with Python, Ansible Framework, Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience working in a public cloud environment (Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
  • You are naturally inquisitive and have interests across different subject areas including computer and system architecture, web applications, scalability, performance analysis, integration.
  • Prior experience with Kubernetes, Redis, SQL, and/or Golang, microservices
